I am looking for 'voice work'. I needed a decent microphone for this. Someone recommended this one from ALPOWL. And, I can honestly say that I am glad that I took their advice. Really, it took me a minute to figure out the correct settings, to get decent recordings. There are six different controls that can affect the quality of your recordings. Then, a bunch more for special purposes. As you can tell from my video, I played with them just a little. The interface between the mic and the laptop has a LOT of control features and extras. But, the most important thing is the quality of the recorded sound and how good the playback is. I can honestly say that this is the best mic that I have tried and that I will probably be sticking with this one, to start doing my voice work. Good purchase. Five stars.
