LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I got the 3.5 ft tall option and this has worked amazingly for me!
1. FLEXIBILITY: this is lighter than the 42 in crate, which makes transporting it easier. It will bend into different lengths which is great for if i want to section off my dog from certain areas of the house. OR it can be put together like the picture and become a make-shift crate/ containment area.
2. SIZE: I got the recommended 8 panels and it is quite large when opened up and put together like the picture. 50 lb lab/retriever puppy and her full grown mom at 80 lbs fit comfortably in it. Also when mom was still nursing all 9 puppies, she and her puppies could fit in this. About the size of two large crates when folded into a square or rounded out.
3. DURABILITY: I have had this outside (in rain) and inside for about 6 months now. I have not had any problems with rust yet. This is not truly a crate so, yes it is a little less sturdy and secure. However, I also feel that it is important to note that when dealing with dogs at a certain weight and age, if they want out, they will find a way out. The 50 lb puppy is capable of escaping and has, but I believe this issue to be a training issue and not a product issue. Puppy is now 6 months and doesn't try and escape anymore. Overall, this is pretty sturdy and I would definitely recommend to people with puppies.
