**Updated review** Our second child is starting to crawl, so we’re baby-proofing even more. The ONLY cabinet locks we went to buy are these magnetic ones from Safety Baby. We’ve had our originals for over two years now, and they still work perfectly. Their customer service continues to be top notch, they responded to my questions within 24 hours. We have also recommended these locks for all our friends and family with kids. These are just awesome. Best idea and product ever. **Original Review** These locks are amazing, and the quality of customer service that we've received has been incredible. Before buying baby locks, we did tons of research on which type and brand to buy. We ended up choosing magnetic locks, and I am so glad we did! They are so easy to use, and they definitely pass the toddler test. Our little man will hold on to the cabinet handles and pull and pull, but they stay shut. All we have to do is bring the magnetic key close to the lock, and you can hear the "click" as it unlocks. So easy, and it works 100% of the time! Also, there is a base for the magnetic key that you can attach with 3M tape, which has been really useful. We attached the base to the top corner of the refrigerator, making it very easy for us to grab the key to open any locks in the kitchen, and it also has the benefit of keeping the key out of reach from our toddler. It is also super convenient to have a base for the key because you put the key back in the same place each time, so it doesn't get lost. There is also a little switch on each of the locks that can turn the magnet off, so then your locks are inactive. I imagine this will be a really useful extra addition when we are past the point of needing child locks. I also love that you can just flip the switch back to make the locks active again, just in case you have another little one running around trying to get into cabinets a few years down the road. Overall, I am so impressed with the quality of product and with the level of customer service. I was shocked to read some negative reviews. The company has been incredibly kind, has reached out to check and make sure we're happy with the product, and asked for any suggestions or improvements. We have never had this kind of customer service offered to us, and it really made an impression. I never leave Amazon reviews, but we are so pleased with the product and the service that we are actually writing a review. I have recommended these specific locks to our family and friends, and I recommend them whole-heartedly to anyone wondering if these are the right locks to buy - they are absolutely the best safety baby locks.
