I read a lot of good reviews, but a few bad reviews concerned me- that the unit eventually will not produce ANY sound at all. I find that a little extreme, so I decided to give this Vizio a shot, because it has exactly what I am looking for. I had a sound tech (I am a musician) tell me the best After a ton of research, I chose this Vizio 5.1 as my home theatre solution. How you set it up set it up DOES matter, in order to get the biggest bang for your buck and for sound quality.
1. The sound bar pointed placed at ear level, or put a wedge under it to tilt it upward towards ear level.
2. Satellite speaker slightly behind you, spread apart wide, and the speakers aimed almost 100%...sideways- not directed right AT you, because it helps to keep the sound bar and satellite speakers from canceling each other out.

Bottom line, I can't believe the sound I am getting out of this unit, especially the subwoofer. Huge cinema sound! The subwoofer placement is important- I highly suggest going on Youtube and looking at various expert tutorials as how to find the sweet spot for it- it's worth the time spent researching. I am enjoying a full cinema/theatre experience- any time I want it. It also rocks playing video games/Xbox, etc. I also use bluetooth to stream music from my iPhone- killer sound. I recommend this product to anyone looking for what I described above. Thanks for reading.
