I have been transitioning my house slowly into a smart home. I have always wanted to get a smart lock for my front door specifically. I have been hesitant because I assumed it would be difficult to to. My hand was forced because we hired a dog sitter for an upcoming vacation. I found this lock on line, and one of the biggest features talked about, was how easy it was to install, and the price-point was much cheaper than I expected to pay. So I pulled the trigger. Everything I read about ease to install was 100% correct. The amount of time it took to install this look, from unpacking to test was a grand total of 20 minutes. The install was super easy, the app walks you thru step by step with pictures. The lock was everything I was looking for. My teenage daughter in the past has lost her home key twice and she was never able to use the front door, she needed to text us and we would open our garage remotely for her to get inside. If she came home at night we had to manually let her in the house or leave the front door unlocked for her. The app allows me to share with anyone I choose, so now she is able to come and go as she pleases, and as an added bonus the door auto locks after you come in! This is a total piece of mind feature! I highly recommend This lock, it is totally amazing. If I had to wish anything was different, I guess I would have liked the lock to come in a different color to blend with my door, but I am not unhappy at all! The breakdown on how I determine my star rating of a product… 5 stars – I love it! It is awesome and I highly recommend that everyone purchase this product! 4 stars – I like it. Not everything can be perfect! I would purchase again. 3 stars – It was okay, but I would probably not buy it again unless I had no other choices. 2 stars – There may be worse products out there, but you can definitely find better choices. 1 star – I dislike the product, I wish I had not purchased it and do not recommend anyone else to purchase it.
