Got it for my rescued feral, but then our Doxle decided she wanted to chase it too and now it's a war between them over WHO GETS TO CHASE THE EVIL RED DOT OF DOOM. And we two-legged creatures are the casualties. The Doxle wanders off after a minute or two, while the kitten hovers in anticipatory agony under the table waiting for her turn to chase. Then she's as preoccupied with looking out for the Doxle as she is with chasing the dot. Said kitten is now quite paranoid and pees on my coat to punish me for having a dog in the first place. Which, of course, throws the Doxle into a whirlwind of disapproval and causes her to bring our shoes upstairs (we are assuming it's to protect the shoes from the evil pee-filled kitten). Alas, she tends to hide them individually, so we're lucky to find both shoes. Fun and entertaining toy, in other words, but beware if you have more than one animal. War isn't pretty. Removed one star for short power cord (makes it tough to put the unit where the kitten won't knock it over since it needs to be near an outlet).
