I had very low expectations. When I searched for an antenna, one of the main items I researched was the return policy--wasn't I the optimist! I was very pleasantly surprised with this. When it arrived, to check it out, we just sat it in a chair next to the tv--it picked up 6 channels. Here, I must say, we were only trying to get the local station that we like watching the weather on in the evenings so getting lots of stations was not the goal--a definite plus, but not critical. Moved it to the window and it increased to 11 channels including the one we wanted for local weather. (One of the others is ME TV--never heard of it, but its interesting.) I'm impressed that it gets the channels it does considering the direction my house is facing with regard to the tv stations and the location of the breakfast area in the house--plus I'm in the country. The pictures on all the channels are great. With streaming and this antenna, we do not miss Directv or that bill at all. This just reaffirmed our decision to let that satellite dish go! I've attached a pic of the window with the antenna in it and a pic of the tv. I would definitely buy this again. Am extremely happy with it.
