Easy to see why this product is on many 'top' whatever lists for pets. I am leaving this review as we are half way through using our second bottle. Our dog is active and has some moderate skin allergies from environmentals. She struggles with hotspots and her ears are constantly itchy. She loves her baths and generally acts like a human at the spa when in the tub. In the past we have used Skouts Honor and other high end shampoos to try to help her out without much success. This shampoo has a strong Almond Oil scent (like Jergens Hand Lotion). It does a great job limiting the wet dog odor after bath time, but as any dog owner will tell you nothing gets rid of it completely. Our dog seems to really enjoy the product. Once she smells the scent and begins to feel the shampoo on her skin she really relaxes in to her bath. We have noticed that her skin is less itchy the day after her bath than with other products. She still has a few key spots that bother her, but we don't feel that this product adds to her discomfort the way others have. We are gong to keep using the shampoo because the dog likes it, it cleans well, and doesn't irritate her skin.
