Let me start this review stating that I am not a proponent of daily multivitamin use. Taking vitamins when you have no true deficiencies is pointless and I think there are much better way to spend my hard earned money. That being said, after a recent report from my primary care physician that my vitamin D levels were a little below where he would like them. He stated that I should consider a specific vitamin supplement for vitamin D3. I did some very cursory research on vitamin D and in the part of the country where I live, low D levels are relatively common; the primary symptoms being fatigue, muscle pain and weakness. I then began looking at various brands online and found this “Solimo vitamin brand” that is owned by Amazon. Not only was it the cheapest brand I found, but on top of that, there was a one dollar off coupon. Making the total cost to me for a five month supply a whopping seven dollars and three cents ($7.03). Or less the a dollar fifty a month. That is a fair price in my opinion. The active ingredient in these supplements is cholecalciferol, the recommended form of vitamin D3, as this is the type of vitamin D our body naturally produces. I was informed that vitamin D is a fat soluble compound, so please remember to take these with a healthy fat like avocado or peanut butter to promote uptake. As you can see in the pictures, the pills are small, easy to take, and they have not caused me any problems since I started them. I am so far, happy with the product I have received. If a medical professional advises you to take a vitamin supplement, then this is a brand you should strongly consider. If you find this review helpful please let us know.
