Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

The Kindle Oasis itself is beyond great. It’s a solid product, but my review is more focused towards the Certified Refurbished aspect. I was hesitant to purchase Certified Refurbished, and did some research. It seems Amazon does a great job refurbishing their products and everyone said their refurbished products looked and worked flawlessly. Ultimately, I was able to get a 32gb WiFi Gold for $10 less than a brand new 8gb one - so I couldn’t pass that up. Ordered it on Tuesday. The product page said it would be delivered Friday. The order confirmation page said Thursday. It arrived Wednesday - that’s the Amazon magic right there. The product comes in a brown Amazon box (inside a regular box). Included is the device and a Micro USB cord. The device is a plastic sleeve and is secure in wrapping so it doesn’t move during shipping. So far, everything works great! 4 stars are given because when I looked for cosmetic damage, there is a small scuff (That I’m able to get out) and a small dent in the aluminum. It’s not immediately noticeable, but I’m alway picky about cosmetics when it comes to expensive products (I doubt an average person would care that much though). Overall, aside from the cosmetic issue, certified refurbished is a great way to save money and get the same product basically brand new. Like I mentioned, I got a 32gb for $10 less than a brand new 8gb, and $40 less than a brand new 32gb device. If you’re on the fence, I say give it a try, and to ease any doubts, remember that you get the same return policy and same warranty that you would with a brand new device. Hope that helps!
