I am from south Florida. We wear sandals year round and I am a native, so I've worn hundreds of flip flops over my lifetime. I had some degree of trepidation when buying these because they are completely synthetic material. It has been my experience that while synthetic footwear may last longer than leather, it does tend to hold odors when you sweat, especially in the hot Florida sun. But I've worn these for about two months on a daily basis and they do not smell and the fit has held up perfectly. This is actually my second pair! I consider myself an expert on sandals as I have worn them the entirety of my life. These are very good, stylish and durable. Oh....and the are very well cushioned, so comfort is very very good. Don't hesitate. Buy them!
