I used an adjustable crescent and flat head screwdriver. Thats it. Before you start - turn off the water and flush your toilet at least once to make sure the tank is empty. It comes with tape - make sure you wrap the threads with it - otherwise it won’t be water tight. Do yourself a favor. If you’re worried about installation, this would be a low-cost gig for a local handyperson.
