I "met" Greg at an online summit and thoroughly enjoyed his talk so I bought this book. Essentialism should be required reading for everyone living in a high paced, high tech, Cult of Busyness society. As a writer, I don't agree with the few reviewers who found this book simplistic, repetitive or poorly written. The message is simple but profound, and I find Greg's writing style to be clear, engaging, conversational, and encouraging. Every chapter was full of "ah ha" actionable moments for both my husband and me. In fact, I typed up 15 pages of "takeaway points" and follow up actions we want to implement in our lives. this book is going on my Hall of Fame shelf with a handful of other books that have had a profound impact on my life.
