I was a little hesitant about these leaves at first. I was worried because it made mention that the water would start to change colors. I honestly was worried it would look like swamp water. I have a 3 gallon tank for my Betta fish, Zeus. He loves all of his plant and his log that he like to sleep in. When I got the leaves, they. We're. HUGE! The packaging said one leaf per 10 gallons. Being substantially less than 10, I guess-timated the piece to put in his tank. He ignored it the first day it was in there. By day 2, he was pulling it around his little home and putting it different places. (He's all about some feng shui I guess) I removed it after it started to break apart, per the instructions. It did tint the water a little bit, but nothing terrible. It reminded me of a very weak tea, honestly. Long story short. Zeus loved it and he does seem to have more of a pep in his..... Step? Fin? Tail? You get the idea. :)
