I bought this one to help me take some high def pictures of wild animals with my cell phone as you can not never get close enough to take a picture without alarming or disturbing them. I have not yet tested it in nature but I have taken pictures of objects that are far away to find out how well it works. The first picture was taken without the monocular and the second picture was taken with the monocular. Overall, it works well. It is important to use the tripod that comes along as any tiny movement will end up with a blurry image. The instruction to set up and adjust is straightforward. It is pretty easy to assemble and disassemble it. But the phone can only fit into the holder after the phone cover is removed. At least that is what happened to my phone so this is something you have to take into consideration. A good alternative option to an expensive camera.
