I'm not sure if previous reviewers understand chenille. I am 68 and don't believe I have ever been without a chenille bedspread. Some as old as 1930. This one is equal to the beauty of most. Yes, they have lint, like most 100% cotton like wool rugs. Vacuum for a year and still shedding. Awe the beauty. Wool rugs are the worst, but far more beautiful than polypropylene. Personally, a cotton sheet under this bedspread is all I have ever needed in ICY Michigan or snowy Utah. Always go with natural fabrics, but I'm a hippie at heart. No I don't work for this company, I just love to steer people to the efforts of beauty. There's always work.
