I bought this to cover the up the grey hairs that are beginning to show up. I used it as directed and I found it be somewhat effective in masking my greys, but not quite what I wanted, so I decided to experiment. Now, I apply it on *dry* hair before I shower and leave it on for about 5 minutes (yes, it does stain, so be careful with surfaces in your bathroom, but a Magic Eraser will get it out of most; I wash my hands after applying it and any stubborns stains on my hands and stains elsewhere on my skin come out in the shower with a loofah). Then, I hop in the shower, rinse it out, and condition my hair as usual. I don't wash my hair every day (curly hair; frequent washing dries it out), so I apply the glaze on days when I won't be washing my hair. I do it about once or twice a week and you can't see my grey hairs at all now (it only took a couple of applications with this method for that to happen).
