Incredibly complex and entertaining.
This is a complex deep dive into so many complicated things but at the center, at least for me, is the struggle with addiction, and all that implies.
I can see how people feel it's inappropriate for teens...I agree, and think it should have and 18+ rating (if that's even a thing), but it doesn't negate some incredible writing and acting. This is a true character study and Ms. Paquin's ability to engage us via the camera is truly awesome.
I also like the character development of the supporting roles and how this thing can go from hilarious to truly heart wrenching and back again very naturally.
Excellent show - binged in one night.
