I bought a few of these for some “get home” bags we keep in different vehicles. You never know when you might need a decent compass and these are fairly cheap insurance for just those times. Would I want to rely on this one in my bug out bag? Not if I don’t have to, but it makes a great compass for a short term “get home” bag. I was talking to Jason Borne and John Wick the other day and they both recommended I get one of these for my own “get home” bag.
