I love these shoes! I normally wear a 6 or 6 1/2. I ordered a 6 and they are just slightly too large, but not enough to be bothersome. I think a 5 would be too small. I do a lot of walking in Disney parks and for me these are the perfect shoes for that. I wore them for several hours over several days, with and without socks and did not get blisters like I do with all other shoes.....even flip flops. They are very flat, which I like, so there may not be enough arch support for some people. I was skeptical of the fabric and quality at first, but they are holding up well. I was also afraid they would soil easily, but a damp cloth or magic eraser remove any scuffs or dirt with ease. I agree with others that the price is a bit high for the quality of these shoes, but for the comfort level I can overlook that. I love them so much, that I just ordered my second pair and have others in my wish list. I have foot issues and think I have finally found my perfect shoe. Edit: After reading the other reviews for these shoes I felt I needed to add a few things. 1. The toes of mine do not wrinkle. 2. In certain lighting I have noticed they have a brownish tint. But they almost always look very black. Even when I put them next to something black. 3. The fabric appears to be quite sturdy. 4. I have worn them almost daily for about 3 months and they are showing no wear. I have done nothing special to keep them clean 5. The fabric is not the same as the little Asian cotton shoes you can buy cheaply 6. For the person that complained that you have to buckle and unbuckle them.....well of course you do. It isn't that hard. 7. Did I mention I love these shoes?😍
