My partner and I are both extremely happy with this bedframe. He has a Tempurpedic mattress and I have a Tuft and Needle 10". Neither of us uses a box spring, and the bedframe supports the mattresses just fine. The frame itself is extremely sturdy, and we haven't experienced any creaking or squeaking (even during activities). We're both a bit on the heavy side (<300lb), and the frame supports our weight just fine (when we're on the same bed or separate). We sleep on our separate beds pushed together and the mattresses fit the beds perfectly. It was a snap to put together (literally), no instructions or special tools required. Just snap the slats into the plastic end caps and snap them into the frame. I did manage to break one of the plastic end caps while assembling mine, but extras were included. Please note that no extra slats are included, and they are a slight bit thin (maybe a half inch or so) but you'd probably still have to go out of your way to try and break one. We've been using the bedframes for 4 months now with no issues, and they were relatively easy to pack up and move. It's worth noting that the item we received is not the same as what is pictured, though I can confirm that this is the exact bedframe we ordered, purchased from Sleep Revolution (it was a gift purchased on a different Amazon account). The queen sized bedframe we received is two separate frames that attach to each other, each with three rails featuring two legs, located in the front, middle and back of the frame. We did not receive the weird staggered leg configuration that is pictured. As such, it is extremely structurally sound and secure. Maybe someone else can shed some light on the leg situation of whatever bed frame they received, but the two we ordered are exactly the same. I've included some pictures of the legs as well as the under-the-bed storage capability. They're boring, but hopefully they're helpful. Since the legs are not staggered, there is ample enough storage space underneath for regular storage boxes, including the longer "wrapping paper" style boxes. Enjoy!
