This cat tree arrives in a huge box--pretty much put together except for the beds. That was a nice surprise! The beds arrive with the screws placed/embedded where they are intended to be secured to the post. Two were bent and unusable but i had a few similar extra on hand in my tool box. From box to finish... 10 mins! "Boofy" luvz his tree scratch-post-chillaxer! He's a loving, larger than life 15 pounder--lap cat Tom and every once and again i want my space! He has his claws and kneads those suckers right through jeans! Ouch! I also wanted something with "style" that i don't mind being out in plain view in the living room. I liked the look of this cat tree and welp... The pics say it all! He attacked it straight out the box scratching and climbing. It proved very sturdy with him being an XL feline. Mr. Boofy spent the evening bathing, watching TV with us and eventually sleeping in his new comfy tree😺 We all couldn't be more pleased!
