I will be adding to this as time goes on, but I installed bed on New Year's Eve. I removed the mattress from the box and placed it on the platform. Logically the simplest way to unroll the compressed mattress would have it upside down, so you would need to unroll it from underneath (it will make sense when you're doing it) Remove the plastic wrapping and the mattress will start to expand, so make sure you have it in place when this starts to happen. I let it sit there for 12 hours, and yes it stunk for a little while but the smell went away fairly quickly. My one disappointment is that it expanded to the full 10 inches. The first night sleep, I slept like a baby. The mattress is nice and firm, but don't be fooled you sink into the top a tiny bit so it is super comfortable. If it stays this firm, I will be very happy with it. A lot of reviews give this mattress at 7 out of 10 on firmness, well I'm saying 8 or even 8 1/2 but I think once its all worked in it will be a 7 or 8. I am coming from a Dormia mattress so I am familiar with memory foam. It did expand to a full 10 in thickness, and it is quite comfortable. It is nice and firm (which I can appreciate) You'll sink into it, and inch, inch and a half, and when you get up off the mattress you'll sink in a little bit, but it re-expands very quickly. I will keep my 5 star rating. For this price, the quality blows away my name brand one that I had prior. ********************************************* Update July 11th 2017 **************************************************** I love this bed :) **********************************************Update April 8th 2018 **************************************************** It has gotten a bit soft in the middle right where I sleep. After seem research one should rotate mattress clockwise every 3 months, I did not. I still think it is a good mattress, I just may have gotten a faulty one. ********************************************* Update April 24th, 2018 **************************************************** Emailed LUCID Warranty services, I sent to them a short letter, and a copy of my invoice from Amazon.I am now required to remove all lining from the bed, place a pole across the width of the mattress, and measure the indentation, if any (while videoing) remove the mattress and photograph bed frame, in my case platform, and send all of this to them, for them to proceed. I messaged back that I don't have a indentation, and that it just sinks in to far in the center, but this is there procedure.
