Disclaimer: I consider myself to be a terrible writer, so I hope this review makes sense. I bought this lid to use with my 40oz simple modern stainless steel bottle. The bottle comes with two lids that don't regulate the flow of water out of the bottle and water pours out like an unrestricted torrent when you tip the bottle over. This Chug Sports Lid, however, controls and restricts the flow of water out of the bottle because of the small mouth; this makes using the bottle much easier when walking, you could turn the bottle upside down and you'd still only get a moderate flow of water. This lid makes the bottle much easier to use, you don't have to think about the angle your holding the bottle when you drink from it; it's almost impossible to splash yourself in the face when drinking out of this lid. Let's be honest, we've all experienced that moment: you tried to drink out of a larger sized, wide mouth, water bottle and tilted the bottle too high and splashed yourself in the face and soaked your shirt or pants, and it sucks. Well, this lid ends that. Buy this lid if you have a big water bottle, it'll make your life easier and drier. Also, the seal is perfect, the lid doesn't leak whatsoever, and the oversized loop handle makes to bottle easy to grab.
