I love this car mount. It's my third one and my favorite. Here's what sets it apart: -Secure: On the bottom there are two support arms the prevent it from moving up and down. My other ones moved because vents move up and down, so when I touched the phone it would move. The support arms make a huge difference. On the end that goes into the vent there's a "U" shaped area that actually clips around the vent to keep it in there. -Opening/closing: There's a nifty button on the back that you push and side arms slide out, then you can push them shut. This is nicer than having to push your phone in one side at a time. -Foam: The padding in this is really nice. There's a red foam that keeps the phone from getting scratched and holds it in better. -Adjusting: You can adjust the phone for the best viewing angle with a screw mechanism on the back. I am so happy with this. I can't imagine any better of a design. 5 stars all around from me. I was sent this to test and review. That has no bearing on my rating or review of it, this is my honest opinion. 11 month update: I am still using this daily after 11 months. I had a period of about a month where the arms didn't open and shut well. I helped pull them a little bit to get my phone in and out. Then all of a sudden they started sliding well again. Maybe somehow they got off the track. It was still functional during that time. As long as I'm using the same case the arms only have to be moved less than half an inch to get the phone in and out, so it didn't bother me much. Now it's back to functioning just as wonderfully as it did out of the box. This product definitely is one of my favorites. It's so nice when I'm using navigation just to have my phone right there. I still highly recommend!
