I'm not one who usually reviews products - especially hair products but i'm going to review this one because it deserves to be known! Let me start by saying I have 3B/3C natural mixed race hair and my number one biggest problem is dryness. I, like many curly girls are product junkies and moisture is the key to keeping my hair happy, curly and looking great. My ends in the shower even feel dry, and I generally finger detangle my hair and spend too much time carefully picking apart fairy knots and using hand full after handfull of conditioner to get through my hair. This product changed that. I used miss jessie's super slip sudsy shampoo to start. Then I put the Silk 18 in my hair. I started with a quarter amount and it covered my entire head! I instantly finger detangled my curls, rinsed and then re-applied a dime size amount into my hair. Now i'm obsessed. I've never instantly had, detangled, soft bouncy curls right out of the shower. Usually I have an entire process of drying, de-frizzing, twisting and adding leave in product and oil to have lasting results. This product, has left my hair in the best possible condition after the first time using it. I got out of the shower, and let it air dry and that was it. Ive even attached a photo of my curls to show you how great my hair looks 8 hours later. I've been getting compliments all day - I love it and am so happy. One minor thing you should know, this product smells like maple syrup & vanilla. It will stay with you during the day. This is not usually a scent I go for because it smells sweet but it wasn't offensive and i'll definitely continue to use the product.
