Let me start by saying that after reading through possibly hundreds of reviews, I was hopeful that trying to add salmon oil to my pup's food would help with her dry, flaky, extremely bothersome skin...however I was so disheartened by her endless biting and scratching that I wasn't gonna get my hopes up. The one and only problem we've had with her since we adopted her 6 months ago was the incessant gnawing on her legs/hips/tail. My husband and I felt horrible constantly for having to yell at her to stop itching when we could tell she was clearly miserable... That's when my research led me to salmon oil, which I promptly ordered, and I'm so so so glad I didn't waste another minute. My order was delivered about a week ago and I've been adding 4 pumps to her dinner since. Within 3-4 days that it was obvious it was already starting to make a difference, and now that we're a little over a week in we're ecstatic because her skin has completely changed for the better. The itchy, flaky layer came off over the last few days and now her skin feels noticeably better to the touch, which has relieved her itching almost 100% =) Her fur was somewhat course before and now it's much softer/shiner as well. Long story short: IF YOU'RE ON THE FENCE ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THIS WILL BE WORTHWHILE, JUST ADD IT TO YOUR CART AND GIVE IT A TRY! I bet you'll be amazed to see how much your pet's coat/skin changes for the better in such a short time just like we are.
