You get what you pay for. I wanted an entryway bench and thought about buying an expensive ($300) one that would look awesome. Then I remembered I have an almost two year old. So I bought this one instead. I won't lie. The material is cheap yet I've received so many compliments because it doesn't look cheap. I broke a little piece off of one board because I misread the instructions but it still went together well and you won't even see the little broken piece. I glued it on and its near the back. The cover washes well, and the squashed banana mixed with dirt came out great.
