Small bag but looks are deceiving
I was disappointed at first as it's much smaller than expected, but looks can be deceiving. There's a decent amount of powder in the bag. I've attached a picture of it next to a watch so you can see what you're getting.
I really like the taste and quality though. I'm not an expert, so I can't tell you the difference between ceremonial grade or kitchen grade, but I do know this one tastes good as a latte. I mix a teaspoon of the powder with 1 tablespoon of hot water (not boiling water) to help it dissolve and then add 1 cup of hot milk. I use an electric baby formula mixer to get out any lumps (Munchkin has a decent one for about $7). You can also use an electric drink frother to mix it instead and it'll also get the milk nice and frothy. I believe it's also around $7 on Amazon. I chose to use the formula mixer since I already had one. And then I drizzle honey on top. It's delicious. I'm trying to cut back on coffee so this is a great alternative and it's healthy.
The packet is small, but it says it has 30 servings. 2 servings = 1 teaspoon so I can make about 15 matcha green tea lattes with this bag. That's a pretty good deal. The bag is also resealable, which is great. I keep it in the refrigerator after opening to keep it fresh. You can also transfer it to an air tight tin for max freshness.
