Belt is great but trying to sort out belts like this online was a royal pain. The only name I could see for this type of belt is a "web belt" although I also stumbled into the women's "invisible belt" category as well. Simply trying to figure out the width of these types of belts is a major challenge since this information is generally not clearly stated in descriptions. For reference this one measures exactly 1.58" at the plastic buckle and 1.18" at the elastic fabric itself. I liked the positive reviews of this one but it seemed like 95% of them were from consumers who were given a discount based on writing a review. I had to wonder if the large number of positive reviews were influenced by that fact. Turns out my own impressions were just as positive and no, I didn't get a damned thing for writing this review. On to my review... I needed something for some mountaineering pants I got from REI which are slightly loose on their own. The belt's stretch fabric is perfect, never letting me know I had the belt on no matter what the activity. The plastic buckle design is very well engineered for one finger release. Adjustment is extremely simple. The belt feels like it will last for a very long time. I'm a 33 waist and the belt fits well with plenty of room to adjust in either direction. Overall the belt looks very innocuous, like it came with the pants (exactly what I wanted)..
