A must have Prime Lens
Sharpness everywhere, beautiful contrast, fast auto focus, smooth and creamy bokeh wide open, good low-lighting performance, that's what you get when shooting with this lens. This is my favorite lens by far, everything just looks great. Perfect for portraits and close-up pictures but can be used in a lot of other situations.
The only down-point is that sometimes 50 mm is too close for some shots, even if you step back, sometimes you screw with your composition, but this only happens if you want to take a picture of a large subject or a landscape, which is not the purpose of this lens for me.
