This device is a small miracle! I am 82 years old, was diagnosed with very severe, end-stage arthritis of the right hip a year ago, and told I would have to have a total hip replacement. I live alone in the middle of nowhere and the recovery from a hip replacement was not feasible for me. So I started looking into alternatives. Have tried MANY. The only one that was of any help previously was allantoin, which is contained in a specific product not sold by Amazon. I have used the regular "red light therapy" with little improvement. However, the TendLite has been a real lilfesaver for me. I can actually walk around without my cane on flat surfaces, and when I use it faithfully (which I try to do), I have virtually no pain. In addition, the Lumina Group is fantastic to work with. I had a minor battery recharging problem, which they addressed immediately. They are as great as their product! I would highly recommend this device to anyone with joint pain.
