Caught my husband, in the middle of a divorce, the soon to be ex husband, installing a fake smoke detector in place of my real smoke detector with a spy camera in it while I was out of town. Caught him in the act with the canary. Called the police and had a report made. He can't come into the house anymore. Highly recommend it. It only took me 5 or 10 minutes to install this little baby the day before I was going out of town. Well worth it! He thinks I spent thousands having a professional do it. When its as simple as plug it in and download the app. He's an idiot. Thank you canary. Update. I've had this a year. Although my internet is terrible, this device really works well for me. I still think it's a very good and cheap home security device. I don't know how it does it, but it can tell as soon as any door in the house is opne, even though it can't see any of them. Must detect some light change in the room or something. I'm thinking about getting a few for outside the house.
