I bought this for our office tank after our Aquaclear was too noisy. We were fighting to keep the 29gallon clear and tried everything but nothing seemed to work. Bought the 207 and within a couple of hours the tank was super clear. Added a spray bar and the fish love playing in the current. Filter is beyond quiet, don’t even know it’s on.....but *** Please read...Important**** If you are switching to the canister from an already established cycled filter, make sure you either keep the other filter running with the canister for at least a month, or take the media from the old filter and put it in the canister. I learned the hard way that if you don’t do this, it will restart the tank cycle. My fish started acting weird within a week. Zebra danios were not being pigs anymore and running around my fish tank was the first sign. Then I noticed one rummynose and danio dead. The other danios looked sick and their gills were red and flared up. I thought my danios were bulletproof, I bought them to cycle my tank but they couldn’t take the stress from the loss of beneficial bacteria. Just a warning.
