Cuisinart: 1) $15 less, even taking into account the $5 KitchenAid rebate. 2) Nylon guard which means the preparer may use right in the cooking vessel. 3) Longer warranty (18 mos. versus 12 mos. KitchenAid). KitchenAid: 1) Multi-speed (versus 2-speed for the Cuisinart). 2) Mixing attachment is removable which means easier storage. 3) Choice of colors (for those who care).
