PROS: I love this planter, it has made apartment/patio gardening SO much easier. It looks much nicer than a handful of small pots and is far easier to maintain. This year I get to grow all sort of new things thanks to this planter, see photos. CONS: It took about two weeks to arrive and the actual quality was not perfect. Amazon was very kind and remedied the shipping mess. As for the quality, the screws did not fit well, and the support beams given did not actually lock into place. DETAILS: For those wondering, it took about 100 dry quarts of potting mix to fill the container. I was able to fit 5 varieties (6 plants each) of lettuce, swiss chard, cilantro, garlic, and basil in my container. Since I am planning on harvesting them young, I was able to reduce the spacing requirements. It would be great for any root or bulb vegetables because of it's depth. The water does tend to sit so I recommend plants that like water or use in desert/hot areas.
