So I looked these reviews up and down to try and find pictures or measurements or anything else to help me determine if it would be possible to clamp both my monitor arm stand and my microphone arm onto the edges of this desk. Because as you can see, the steel frame around the desk looks like it could make things awkward. Unfortunately, it does. I did my best to provide the exact measurements of the crucial pieces that people who are interested in clamping things on the side of this desk. See the image for the exact measurements. Quickly I will say, the lip of the desk that goes over the steel frame is only 5/8 inch. So with a 1 inch thick desk board, and only 5/8 inch of lip to clamp something onto, it's not going to be the sturdiest of whatever you mount unless it's something small and/or lightweight. However from the top of the desk board, to the bottom of the steel frame, is a more sturdy depth of 3 inches. That unfortunately can be too large for clamps of different equipment to be able to get its mouth onto. In short, you will need to be sure that what you want to clamp on your desk either has a clamp that has at least a 3 inch mouth on it, or it not to be too heavy to clamp onto the 1 inch desk board and 5/8 inch desk lip. Personally, I was able to get the "ECHOGEAR Triple Monitor Desk Mount Stand (Amazon ID: B079NNC2YQ)" to fully get the clamp on the 3 inches (from the top of the desk to the bottom of the steel frame) though it was a tight squeeze. The RODE PSA1 Swivel Mount (Amazon ID: B001D7UYBO) did not have a large enough clamp for the 3 inches (it was soooo close though) so I have that clamped onto the desk lip of 5/8 inch. It's not the sturdiest and I'm looking for alternatives, but it hasn't cracked the desk yet or fallen off. Hopefully this information will help those, because I sure needed it and couldn't find it.
