I'll admit, my wife wanted this accessory and I was apathetic. I thought it was gimmicky. I was wrong. It's nice to be able to throw meat on the grill, and go do other things (other food prep, grabbing a beer, talking to guests) and be able to glance at your phone and see the temperature of what's on the grill. It's also dealt a blow to my ego. I thought I was a pretty decent griller and didn't "need" this thing. But I will say that every time I have used it the meat comes off the grill better than when I grill without it. I'm usually conservative with meats like chicken and pork and tend to leave them on too long to ensure they are cooked through, but they end up drier than ideal. But with the iGrill, I can monitor from inside the house and take them off the grill at just the right time. This pays dividends when grilling in colder weather! I would definitely buy this product again.
