With my oldest, I used a wrap-type carrier. They work nice for newborns, but they are so difficult to put on, and so bulky. When I found Konny for my second, I had to try it. It is so simple - you put it on just like a shirt. It is designed to support baby's hips, which is another good feature in a carrier (make sure you put it in correctly - with the fabric all the way to both knees, not just under their bum). It comes with an support tie, which makes the carrier more secure if you are carrying a newborn or moving around more than normal and need extra support. It is nice and small, so it is easy to put into a diaper bag as well. I highly recommend this brand, babies and parents are definitely very important to them. My Konny has helped me so much through the newborn days, and now that my baby is older too (works from 7-35lbs, I believe). I love when I put my son in the carrier and he falls right asleep!
