and Ikea is any better? It's budget furniture guys/gals/children/college students/trying to save money ...
I rarely write reviews anymore since...plenty of folks have already done so.
That said, I felt this product deserves to be praised. Directly responding to the "this is cheap crap" or "this is too hard" or "it doesn't plug and play". Hi...and Ikea is any better? It's budget furniture guys/gals/children/college students/trying to save money for a house...etc. You can clearly see the type of wood being used in those pictures too. It isn't going to be $1000 material...and even then...it ain't going to get you very far. It's wood, not gold; be fair on its application.
Anyway, the material and physics were composed well. So the mix of plywood and pressed wood, when put together correctly, the structure is sound. SO DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT IT BREAKING WHEN YOU SLAM THINGS WITH YOUR FIST. If it doesn't fit, stop forcing it. You can actually rip this apart during construction. But once completed, it'll out live you. Effort wise, I was literally watching movies as I assemble this and it came together just fine.
So what else is there to say, the product does what it's supposed to. Shipping issues are not product related. And seriously folks, to break during delivery you have to be able to lift 50 - 100 lb over your head and "Hulk" it around for a few rounds. It's also packaged with foam to cushion...So if you've already been looking around and wanting to buy this...pull the trigger. It's pretty literal from the picture. Side note though, you might want to be around when the shipment arrives. Why? It's heavy; that delivery person cares more about how quickly he/she gets in and out; gravity trumps most things. If the box appears compromised, just tell Amazon for an exchange. Pleasssee stop filling reviews with poor shipping experiences.
