These are nice ice trays, with the cubes probably 1/3 of the size of a "normal" ice cube. Nonetheless, they make nice cubes and they are easy to remove. Filling them, however, is why I didn't rate them 5 stars. The trays are very soft silicone so they bend, flop and deform easily while filled with water and on their way to the freezer. The tops/lids are useless when the cubes are not already frozen, so I found the answer to be to place the ice cube tray ON TOP OF THE LID while filling and transporting to the freezer. That keeps the tray flat and firm. Once the water is frozen into ice you can then place the lid on top to keep it fresh.
