Fabulous! I love them!
I ordered only six of these to try them in my Keurig 2.0. I compared them end to end and bottom to bottom to actual K-Cups, and they are exactly the same size. After a week of constant use, rinsing them, letting them dry, and then refilling them for morning, I was sold. Lots of coffee is made here, and not once have one of these cups spewed grounds into my coffee. At the bottom of my cup I see a bit of residue, but I'm fine with that. I also love coffee made with a French press as well, though, and that leaves far more residue by comparison. Inside these little cups there is a line just below the upper edge. I try not to fill above that line, and I do not pack the coffee inside the cups. I leave it loose, and I make sure that there are not particles of coffee on the edge of the cup before I close it. (Another fact: I found it difficult to open these cups when I first got them. There is a hinged edge on one side of the cup. Lift up the lid directly across from that edge, and the cup opens easily.) I was so pleased with these cups that I ordered thirty more along with this K-Cup carousel to hold 35. It was a bit of a chore to fill 35 cups. But normally I will fill only four or five before bedtime, however many we used, rinsed, and put in the drainer to dry that day. When I have guests I'll use more, but to me that will be no big deal. I like the fact that filling reusable K-Cups saves me money, but the huge deciding factor for me is imagining the hundreds of thousands of brand-name K-Cups that are used and tossed in the trash daily across not only our country but the world. Imagine the gigantic mountain of plastic, which is not friendly to our environment and will take possibly forever to degrade, that creates daily on our planet. I love my coffee, and I love the one-cup servings that my Keurig makes possible. But I don't wish to create an environmental hazard by disposing of K-Cups simply because they are easy to use. These little jewels don't require rocket science to fill them. They have my vote! I buy my favorite brands of beans and grind my own coffee. A person could also use these with loose tea to make a delicious cuppa. I just wish the company would make these in different colors to match our machines. Mine is red, and the lavender/purple color doesn't look as lovely sitting beside it as red cups would.
Update: After use, I stick these cups in my rack to dry out. When we make a cup of coffee, we just tap out the dried grounds and use them again to eliminate washing the K-cups continuously. After using these things daily for many months, I can say they are well-made, hold up well, and allow me and my family to diminish our garbage output HUGELY! I do have coffee ground residue at the bottom of my cups of coffee. I just stop drinking and rinse the cup. That doesn't bother me. I'm very glad I bought these. I hate the color of them, but I can't complain about the quality, durability, or the coffee that they provide.
