First off, I have been a fan of this company and its offerings since the original Go-tcha. I have a PoGO+, the OG Go-tcha, and a Go-tcha Ranger. And when this came out, I was excited to compare it to the other offerings. The Pros outweigh the Cons. Get one. PROS: - After a firmware update via the app, it can function as a digital watch on the default screen - Battery life is amazing! I just did an 8 hour event and the battery was only down to 60%. How do I know? ITS ON THE SCREEN!!!! - Quicker auto catch. It doesn't go through the 3 shake ceremony like the other Go-tchas or the Go+ - Faster response time with auto-spinning stops when compared with previous models - Looks more like a watch and less like a toy. I like playing Pokemon GO as stealth as possible. - USB charging CONS: - The vibration isn't as strong as previous models (probably to save on battery life) so when you're out of pokeballs or your inventory is full, you can't tell immediately because the vibration pattern is so faint. - You have to update the firmware to sync the time. You can't just do that standalone or right out of the box. - When shiny checking, it takes this model way longer to lock back onto a Pokemon after I see it's not a shiny. - Silence watch alerts is pointless and confusing. If this is enabled, it negates whatever setting you have for vibration. Without any further developments to do more with this - beyond Pokemon GO - I wish i could permanently hide it. NEUTRAL: - The color screen is neat, but it adds nothing in terms of experience or gameplay - The band is difficult to remove to charge this thing, but that beats the unit popping out of the band and getting lost like the OG model.
