Buy it used, because it's cheaper
Please let the headline explain my four star rating, I purchased this item used at a substantial savings. I am a 48 year old man who is about 115 lbs overweight. However, once long ago I played football, rode motorcycles, skied down big mountains, and was in the Navy. I was even a budding martial artist. Now I work at a desk, watch Amazon Prime, drink bourbon, and play guitar poorly (perhaps, because of the order here... hmm). A series of injuries sidelined my athletic endeavors years ago to the point where even a long hike makes me nervous, wondering if I might hurt my knee, or shoulder, or back. I can still do this program. I use the modifiers and stop sometimes. I like this program it's fun. It reminds me of the agility drills that I miss from sports practice, not everyone thinks those were fun. I'm doing the diet. It's hard, 1600 calories/day, women under 135 lbs only get 1400. I didn't do the 1200 cal/day jump-start. Tonight I'm having a bowl of kale for dinner, nothing else. It's a full bowl though, for what that's worth. The diet is way more difficult than the 25 minutes of exercise. Way, way more difficult, especially if you weigh 115 lbs too much. Shaun T talks a lot about focus. I know because I stand there and listen to him sometimes when my old body can't keep up. His little food book says don't kid yourself, diet is important, write down the calories in your Latte. He says you have to do this for yourself. You have to focus and be healthy, for yourself. This is a difficult program, but it is possible if one can focus. I started on Power90, but I got tired of the same two disks. I tried P90x, but I was standing around too much, because I'm fat. I looked at Insanity, but even the jocks were quitting on the DVD. This one though, I can do this one... With a bit of focus. No one else can do this for you.
