Comes WITH the K-2, which is needed for D absorption
This is an easy way to get fast-acting D, plus the K-2 needed to process it. With humans now experiencing what amounts to a perpetual cold & flu season and people looking at you sideways if you so much as sneeze in a grocery store, vitamin D is definitely your friend. I've been reading study after study about folks who have their Vitamin D levels at 50 ng/mL or higher having a much less likely chance of catching a cold or flu, and if they do catch such a thing, it's usually much less intense and for a shorter duration. What most people forget (or don't know) is that the body needs Vitamin K-2 and magnesium for the Vitamin D to be absorbed well. This particular product already has the K-2 ... all you'd need to add is the magnesium, which should be taken at bedtime. I personally recommend Magnesium Glycinate because it doesn't have any laxative effects.
BTW - a doctor friend said best to take Vitamin D during the morning or early afternoon ... taking it in the evening or before bed can make it hard for some people to fall asleep.
One more thing -- this is just over 1200 International Units per dropperful. My naturopath says all adults should be taking 5,000 IU daily.
