These cameras are a great value for the money! I initially purchased a 3-pack, and after testing them for a couple weeks, I decided to get another set. The cameras were really easy to set up with the zmodo app (iPhone 6s, iOS 10.2.1). It took me about 10 minutes to set up the first 3 that I got, not counting the time I spent positioning and mounting the cameras. The app setup is step by step and incredibly easy to follow. I'm highly skeptical of the qualifications of the "IT guy" that posted a review saying it took him over 4 hours to set these up. Make note that these will ONLY connect to a 2.4Ghz connection. If you have a dual band router, it won't work on your 5Ghz network. The live streaming quality is great in 720p, and pulls up pretty fast, even over cellular data. You can take screenshots of the live feed and record video straight to your phone as well. I also love the fact that these have a built in speaker/mic. I can mess with my dogs when I'm not home or chat with someone at the front door. The microphone is very sensitive and I haven't had a problem hearing anything. The alerts are a nice feature, and they automatically save to your account for 24 hours for FREE if you need to go back and get something. I would suggest adjusting your alert settings because the defaults are pretty sensitive, especially on the audio detection. If you don't tweak it you might end up with an annoying amount of alert notifications. My only complaint, and this is a pretty minor one, is that the motion detection video quality defaults to the "low" resolution setting. Meaning that if someone did break into your house, the lighting would have to be perfect, and they would have to be very close to the camera for you to actually be able to see their face clearly. If there is an option to change this, I haven't found it. This feature could easily be fixed with an app update though. One last bit of advice I would offer, is that you might want to consider purchasing an aftermarket power cord. The cords that come with it are fine, but I bought a set of 3 10ft USB to micro USB cables in order to have more flexibility about where the cameras were placed in relation to the power source, and conceal the cord more effectively. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with my purchase. If my cameras die or experience any issues with functionality, I'll update my review.
