Plenty of shoulder height. I was concerned about the shoulder height after reading the other review however there is plenty of room!! Are you kidding me? I went straight to Babies R US to check it out myself. YOU NEED TO pull the red lever in the back to increase the head rest then you can adjust the shoulder height straps even MORE!!! Don't let the misinformed review give you false information. My son is 9 months and measures 29inches, while sitting in it, the shoulder can adjust 6-7 inches additional above his shoulder. Pros: -plenty of cushion (Britax just felt so hard and plastic) -adjustable Recline!! so can just lay the baby to sleep (see that big red lever on the bottom? you pull that to recline) -Plenty of adjustable shoulder height (Just as comparable to Britax and Graco! I lined them up and checked them myself cause the misinformed review) -Symphony vs Triumph model - the symphony converts into a booster seat so you don't have to purchase one later, Triumph doesn't (means this is the only chair you will need until your child is safe enough to wear a normal seatbelt) Cons: -Misinformed reviews!! I just wanted to clear up the information. This is a great product and wanted to make sure it gets the recognition it deserves. It fits snug and has plenty of cushion for the nice long ride. You get more for your money because it adjusts to a booster seat later as well. Evenflo got a real nice product out of this one. We even took a look at the Platinum version of this model which is the pretty much the same thing except the material is made out of "Nasa" material which suppose to keep the kid from being too hot but I personally thing it was more of a marketing tool to get parents to pay more. This has been plenty good for us and we had no issues from it. Amazon had this on sale so we got a great deal on it. Get it while its hot!!
