Unbelievably silent. In all my years, I have never experienced any electronic devise -- with any motor driven output such as this cooling humidifier, to run day and night -- to be literally silent. The mist is the finest I've ever seen. The mist is perfectly silent, too. The many hopes and needs I had are all met in this cool air humidifier. As our whole house A/C fails to cool my bedroom, it's a joy to find something that cools the air and moisturizers my skin. The price is perfect. I am so amazed and very happy with this.
