I almost didn’t purchase this brush because I saw reviews saying that the bristles melted. But being that I saw many reviews claiming that the wooden-handled brushes split, cracked, or snapped off completely, I decided I’d try this one and I believe I made the right choice. This brush is truly effective, making something like fried potatoes a breeze to clean up. Just remember that one reason iron cookware is so popular is because of the HEAT RETENTION! Don’t take this brush directly to the skillet after you pull it from the stove! Run it under some cold water, cool the surface a bit (don’t soak it, it’s iron), and then use the brush. It works on everything I have thrown at it, and it still looks new. Don’t be a fool, use the things you own as they are intended to be used, and they will serve you well. A good brush at a reasonable price.
