I had relatively great skin growing up, except for the occasional deep painful acne that would arise prior to my menstrual cycle. However, after I got off birth control (5 years now) and hit my 30s - I developed embarrassing cystic acne and dark scarring. I have spent absurd amount of money and anxiety on products, changed my diet and even went to the dermatologist who prescribed benzoyl peroxide which only left me dark scars. (I learned salicylic acid is the best for Asian skin.) One of my colleagues had deep cystic acne scarring and I noticed his face cleared up. He was seeing this amazing and knowledgeable esthetician who worked wonders! She fixed my problem and educated me what I was doing wrong. I got nanoneedling and my face never looked so flawless and radiant. My regiment was as simple as the white dove sensitive bar soap and some medical graded retinol at night and moisturizer/soft everyday. But then stress of my job took a toll on me and my hormonal cystic acne under my chin kept breaking out. Everytime one popped, the area would become infested with many more developing. It was the bacteria infection that was spreading and causing the breakouts. My esthetician was kind enough to offer me to drop by everytime my cystic acne was ready to pop and she would zap it with the high frequency, instantly flattening, closing it up and speeding up the healing process. Well, I could not impose nor did I have the time to keep doing so. I was skeptical at first when I came across this device on Amazon. For this price? And consumers can use it without any licenses? I purchased and did not use right away. I watched the videos, read the instructions multiple times and did research online to make sure I understand what products/ingredients can be used prior and after using the machine. It is very simple to use, but make sure you READ & WATCH the helpful videos on Amazon. I leaned on being more cautious so I haven't been using it regularly and for the full 5 minutes per day. I also do not turn up the capacity too high like how my esthetician does ( I usually feel a little shock when she does). But even after 1 use, I noticed the difference instantly! Your acne will darken when you use this machine and might appear more red but you will notice by the next day inflammation is gone and if you are using the right products positive results. Consistency, staying hydrated (alkaline filter purchased through Amazon), collagen pills and probiotics have helped me tremendously on a very long and embarrassing journey. I turn 38 this month and can go back to not wearing foundation again!
